No, it doesn't shoot B&W. Nor does it shoot film. All the previous H series have been equipped with film/digital interchangeable backs. Since this is a dedicated digital system, the machining of the pieces are much more precise and so you get a better image. You also have firmware on board that fixes problems with most digital back systems (moire for one). I shot this wide open at 50mm. Just to see what the bokeh looked liked. It's pretty sweet. UPDATE: If you go to yesterdays post, you can see some high rez crops from the crane image. Just so you know I'm not kidding with you.
